MICHAEL CYCLES TO BRUGES. In June, Michael Gester will be cycling to Bruges in aid of S. Augustine’s Restoration Appeal. Last year he did a sponsored cycle ride to Lourdes and raised a considerable amount of money for the Society of Mary.  Do support him during our 130th Anniversary Year.  He should arrive in Bruges on 21 or 22 June when our own pilgrims from S. Augustine’s hope to be there to welcome him..

DAY PILGRIMAGE/VISIT TO CANTERBURY – Saturday 17 July The date has now been fixed and the coach booked. The cost is likely to be about £30 (excluding meals). The plan is to leave S., Augustine’s at 7.30am and arrive in Canterbury at 10.30am. We should visit the Cathedral at 10.30am and (hopefully) celebrate a group Mass before lunch. There would be then time to look round and visit the ancient church of S. Martin, used by S. Augustine and his monks when they came to England in 597,  before the cathedral was built. This pilgrimage should be an inspiring one as we continue to celebrate 130 years of Christian witness here at S. Augustine’s, Kilburn.

  Friday  6  - Sunday  8 August . WALSINGHAM PILGRIMAGE    .
