There will be no Evensong and Benediction on Sundays during August except on the 15th - the Feast of the Assumption. This service will resume on Sunday 5 September.


FORTHCOMING EVENTS

Saturday 31 July: Summer Work Day

The PCC would welcome volunteers to give a few hours of their time to work in the church and the garden. This is a great opportunity to spend time with fellow members of the church and to help contribute to the maintenance of our beautiful building and church garden. For further details, please contact Fr Yates.

Friday 6 - Sunday 8 August: Walsingham Pilgrimage

Please note that the final list of pilgrims has been submitted.

Saturday 18 September: London Open House

S Augustine's will be open to visitors from 10.00am - 5.30pm. There will be guided tours at 11.00am and 3.00pm and refreshments throughout the day.

Thursday 23 September: Concert

The choir of Lincoln College, Oxford will be giving a concert of sacred music at 7.00pm.


INFORMATION ABOUT PEOPLE

At the time of writing the following people are in hospital:

Floretta Reader has returned to the Willesden Health Centre.

Tony Herbert is now in Boyne Residential Care Home, 38 Parkway, Ruislip, Middlesex HA4 8NL, telephone 01895 621732.

Stephen Johnson, who was taken ill on the Canterbury Pilgrimage, is in Kensington and Chelsea Hospital.


ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome and congratulations to Tony Lawal and and Mirugia Kuwas who were conditionally baptised and married here on Saturday. We assure them of our support and prayers and feel privileged to share in their happiness.
